Help my child is an Artist!

How fun is it as a child to draw anywhere you like and make a beautiful masterpiece on your new painted wall. Unfortunately, we as parents find this is generally not a good idea. At least we do not.
I have two daughters who are both very creative. Mirte, my oldest of 9 years old now understands that it's not okay to draw on our walls. My youngest daughter Eva who is almost 4 years old is wonderfully enterprising, which is good, but not always fun for our home! Regulary our walls, windows or floor are taken care of by her...

Probably all parents know about the scenes where instead of eating their child makes a mess. Before you know it a small spring cleaning starts because everything around your child is under the food, including the small sir or madam itself and the walls. This seems quite annoying but .... it appears somewhere that's good for children and they find it in any case a lot of fun!

A fun event has been organized on November 12 in the Cobra Museum in Amstelveen for invited guests. It's called Knoeikunst (literal mess art).

Children will have complete artistic freedom. With an experimental and colorful palette and products that can be found in every household, such as mud, ketchup, jam, a group of children can start to create their masterpiece on 20 white walls of the museum. How great is that!

This creative event is organized by Histor and only for invitees. Histor believes in the power of children's imagination as a basis for creativity and experimentation and development. Picasso once said, "Every child is an artist. The difficulty has been to stay an artist if you are great". The walls of the exhibition space are specially prepared with Histor Clean, a wall paint that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. At the end of the day, the museum walls are cleaned again. So maybe it creates the most expressive but also most temporary exhibition ever.

This matte Histor Clean Paint, is ideal for dirty sensitive environments such as hallway, children's room, staircase, kitchen etc. Stubborn stains like mud, ketchup and markers are easily removed, available in many of colors.

Wouldn’t it be great to be allowed to do this as a child or even adult?

    1. Dank je Pascale! De jongste krast ook graag liefst met 10 stiften tegelijk ;), maar de oudste gaat later vast iets creatiefs doen!
